5) The teaching and learning of Chinese by Greek and English-speaking students
Since 2009 she has been the coordinator of Polydromo Group for bilingualism and multiculturalism in education and society (http://polydromo.web.auth.gr/index.php/en/) researching various aspect of language contact and learning.
She participates in the research programme Migrant, “Investigation of adolescent digital literacy practices for the design of Modern Greek Language teaching to youth of new migration background” for the period 01/2020-06/2023, which is coordinated by prof Dimitris Koutsogiannis and in which, apart from AUTh, the University of Hamburg and Macquarie University (Australia) are participants.
Since 2020, as the director of the Confucius Institute of AUTh (http://confucius-institute.web.auth.gr/en/) she supervises its projects and researches the contact between Chinese and Greek and the teaching approaches that promote the learning of Chinese for speakers of Greek.

Museum Education, Cultural Heritage Education, Non Formal and Informal Education and Inclusion, and more specifically: the educational and social role and responsibility of Museums, the role of Cultural Heritage and Arts in the Education of all children, the conjunction of Formal Education (including Special Education) with Non-Formal and Informal Education, the Universal Design for Learning in cultural spaces, the Accessibility, the equal participation and Inclusion of all children regardless their differences in Culture and Arts (children with and without disabilities, different cultural background, etc.).
